Nahum - have you ever wondered what the biblical book of Nahum is all about? Well next week is your chance to find out. Come to a series of three sermons on this unusual book over the first 3 Sunday evenings in May.

New Group- Are you looking for an evening out of fun and fellowship with like-minded people? Come and join a new group for anyone who is single and over forty. Sunday 25th May. Everyone at the 11:00 service is invited to stay for lunch after the service, which is kindly being provided by the Men's Bible Study Group, under the leadership of Nick Adlam. On this Sunday, we are also celebrating the 50th anniversary of John Bourne joining the choir. To facilitate catering, please purchase lunch tickets in advance (£2 each from Christine Woodward).

Chichester Flower Festival - a coach trip to the Chichester Flower Festival on Friday 30 May is being organised by St John’s Church. They have spaces available on the coach - if you would like to go, please contact Sheila Batten Cost, including travel and entrance, is £16 each.

All Saints Golf Day - Friday 6th June at the Royal Eastbourne Golf Course 27 Holes and a light lunch. To book your place contact Nick Deane. All Bookings needed by 14th April.

Walk the East Sussex Coast ½ night of Prayer. Ready for the Mission in September we want to cover the mission in prayer, so on Friday 6th June 8pm to midnight please come and pray with us at St. Barnabas Church, Kingfisher Drive, Langney. Through Faith Missions will have Jonathan Mortimer present to help us focus on key issues. Stephen Talbot, Revival Prayer Centre, Eastbourne.

CARITAS 08 – There will be large Diocesan celebration on 21st June beginning at 10.00am at which the Archbishop of York, John Sentanu will be speaking, Every parish is encouraged to send a group of people. If you would like to come please sign the list at the back of church.

Ordination of Nick Cornell. We have a very limited supply of tickets for the ordination Nick Cornell, our new curate. The ordination is at Chichester Cathedral on Saturday 28th June at 4pm. If you would like to attend please contact Shaun in the office as soon as possible’
