Our Sunday Services

There are usually three Services each Sunday:

At 10am there is the Joint Family Service (with drinks and fellowship afterwards). There is a Children's Spot early in the service after which the youngsters go out to their Sunday School groups. Musically there is a rotation between different music groups (sometimes a small choir and band, sometimes the organ, sometimes a piano and cello). Hymns include both traditional and comtemporary. There is a supervised creche in the Vestary. On the 2nd and 5th Sunday of each month there is Holy Communion.

At 4pm there is our new all-age family service- "Alive". Vibrant contemporary praise, this service is aimed mainly at families with children, although everyone is welcome.(Holy Communion 3rd Sunday)

At 7.00pm there is a more informal Evening Service. Many students attend this and there is an electric music group and wonderful contemporary hymns and praise. There are drinks and fellowship both before and after the service. (Holy Communion 4th Sunday)

However, on on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at 8am there is a service of Holy Communion(1662). This is a time for quiet reflection, prayer and praise.

Every Thursday there is an 11am BCP Service every Thursday – Mostly BCP Holy Communion, with a BCP Fully Sung Matins – First Thursday of each month.

The Clergy will always bring Holy Communion to the housebound and visit parishioners on request.
